Our vision is for St James to be a community hub with the church at its heart. Our focus in building links with our local community is to provide welcome and radical acceptance to all, celebrate the arts as a way of expressing spirituality and bringing healing and joy, provide space for quiet contemplation, build connection between diverse groups, and challenge injustice.
If you haven't already, please consider setting up a monthly donation to St James, to help us ensure financial sustainability for years to come.
The most efficient way is to set up a standing order as detailed below
Set up a standing order to the St James Bank account.
Account Name: St James Episcopal Church Leith**
Sort Code: 60 01 73
Account Number: 22505856
**Please note: some banks have a character limit for account names. Our bank has advised that if the full account name does not fit, payees should put in as many letters of this title as their bank accepts.
And, if you are eligible as a tax payer, you might want to make use of "gift aid" and add a further 25p to each £1 you give. You can complete an online gift aid declaration HERE
(Or if you prefer, you can download a gift aid form to print off and complete , and then submit to the treasurer here.)
Alternatively you can set up a monthly gift via our CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) account in less than 2 minutes with your bank card. No separate Gift Aid form needed!
Both methods can also be used to make one-off payments
